The Josiephine Streater Threatt (JRST) Foundation is working towards building a brighter future through education.
Our Work
At this moment, nearly 40 percent of students are not graduating each year across America within six years due to their inability to pay their tuition, get the necessary books, or due to lack of mental and emotional support, according to a 2021 report by the National Center for Education Statistics. The report also found that students from low-income families are more likely to drop out of college than students from high-income families.
That’s why the Josiephine Streater Threatt (JRST) Foundation is focused on accelerating progress — challenging systems, policies and practices so all students can graduate on time.
